Inside Aurelia: a refit in quiet luxury
Travertine, bleached oak and a pool on the sun deck: how a sixty-two metre yacht was re-imagined.

When Aurelia came into the yard in the autumn of 2023, her owners had one request: make her feel calmer. Not newer, not bigger — calmer.
The answer took eight months, a Milanese interior studio and more than four hundred square metres of travertine.
Materials that age well
Gone are the high-gloss veneers of the 2010s. In their place: bleached European oak, hand-woven linen walls and stone that will look better in twenty years than it does today.

“We wanted guests to notice the sea first, and the yacht second.”
A beach club, reborn
Aft, the former tender garage is now a beach club with a hammam, a gym and a bar that opens to the swim platform. It has become, by some distance, the most-used room on board.
