What does a weekly charter rate include?
The rate covers the yacht, her crew and their insurance. Fuel, food and drink, berthing and other running costs are paid through an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) of around 30–35% of the rate, with every euro accounted for at the end of your charter.
How far in advance should we book?
For July and August in the Mediterranean, or Christmas in the Caribbean, we recommend booking nine to twelve months ahead. Shoulder seasons — May, June and September — can often be arranged at a few weeks' notice.
Can we design our own itinerary?
Always. Your charter director drafts a route around your wishes, and your captain adjusts it day by day for the weather. Nothing is fixed: if you love an anchorage, you stay.
Are children and pets welcome?
Most of our yachts welcome children, with nannies, children's menus and junior water sports on request. Pets are welcome on selected yachts — ask us and we will check with the owner.
How does buying a yacht through you work?
We start with a private conversation about how you would like to use her, then shortlist yachts on and off the market, arrange viewings and sea trials, manage surveys and negotiation, and stay with you through the handover — and afterwards.
Is travel insurance or a deposit required?
A 50% deposit secures your dates, with the balance and APA due one month before embarkation. We recommend charter cancellation insurance, which we can arrange for you.
